Thanks for the Young At Heart Brunch

Thank you to EVERYONE who helped with the Young at Heart Brunch, from those who donated food, helped with set-up, served, or stayed to clean-up.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated!   And, a special thank you to music director, Christopher Schaljo, for providing the musical entertainment at the brunch!

Camping Program & Retreat Ministries

Brochures for the NYAC of the United Methodist Church Camping Program & Retreat Ministries have arrived & may be found on the display rack right outside of the church office.

Drawing Closer to God - many thanks

Thanks to everyone who made the Wednesday Lenten Services happen and helped us in our Lenten journeys.  We were fed spiritually in the services and afterwards shared food and fellowship.

We are very grateful to all who supported the Wednesday Lenten services with their help and with their presence – we pray that they were a blessing to you as you seek a closer walk with Him.

Pastor's vacation

Pastor will be on vacation May 9, May 11 - 15, May 30 & June 22. From May 9 - 14  emergency pastoral coverage will be provided by Rev. Tony Beck of Christ United Methodist Church in Beacon, 831-2068

Drive someone to church

Worship is an important part of a vital spiritual life.  Fellowship with other believers is a great support and encouragement in the walk of faith.  

For various reasons people who would like to come to church are sometimes unable to attend due to a lack of transportation.  Please help us make our church life more accessible by offering to drive someone who needs a ride. 

If you can drive someone to church for worship or other events please contact the church office. The pastor and worship committee will coordinate this ministry. 

Cooperative School of Christian Mission – July 19-21

Join the annual conference at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Connecticut. Studys are on:

  • Immigration and the Bible: A Guide for Radical Welcome (in English, Korean, and Spanish)
  • Haiti, Challenges and Hope (in English)
  • Poverty (English, Korean, Spanish, and Young adults 18-25 English)

If you can’t do three days, come on Saturday July 21, from 8 till 5. The study will be on poverty. 

Vacation Bible School 2012

Spring is almost here, so the thoughts of the Education Committee turn to summer. Last year we ran a successful vacation bible school with active involvement of more than 30 volunteers and generous donations from many others.

Please consider helping us to provide a meaningful vacation bible school in 2012 by generously supporting our fundraising efforts.

Bible Study

Please join us for Bible Study on Fridays from 10 am–12 pm, in Church, on T2. We have coffee and refreshments at 11 am.
