Weather cancellations: What to do in the event of inclement weather? Pastor Peggy Ann will never cancel service. However, we advise you to use your best judgment if driving conditions are dangerous or walking is hazardous. If you can travel safely, we encourage you to worship with us. For meetings and special events please be sure to Listen to WHUD 100.7 FM, WBNR 1260 AM, WLNA 1420 AM, or K104.7 FM for church cancellations due to inclement weather.

Child care for infants and toddlers is provided during the worship service. The crib room is on the middle level, at the end of the hallway.

Child care is available after Sunday worship, too. Depending on the weather, our child care attendant may be found in the crib room, in Fellowship Hall, or in the playground.
There are postcards in the Narthex which you may use to let someone know we prayed for them today.

Prayer Chain: If you or someone you know is in special need of prayer, you are invited to call or e-mail the church office with your request and the members of the prayer chain will be notified of your prayer need. As the body of Christ, it is our privilege and our call to support one another and bless our world through prayer.

Fishkill U.M.C. has a Mission Scholarship Fund, to assist those who desire to participate in a United Methodist trip/project.

The Upper Room (large print and regular) for July/August 2010 and the 2010 Daily Bible Reading Guide are available in the Narthex. Please pick up a copy.

Remember to check or add to the "Cares and Shares" board in the stairwell to keep abreast of members' prayer requests and thanksgivings during the week.

If stairs are difficult for you, please use our lift to visit Fellowship Hall.

We have room for all! If you arrive late, or the pews look full, or you have small children with you, you are invited to sit in Fellowship Hall and watch the worship service on TV. We do request that any children be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Infants and toddlers may be left with the attendant in the child care room, where a TV shows the worship service.

Vacationers: We continue to donate mini toiletries to Hudson River Housing. You may leave them in the Lunch Box donation barrels. Thank you. (No coffee, please.)

Is your mailbox overflowing with charity calendars? Greeting cards? Clients at the Lunch Box would love to have them. Please leave them in the collection barrels at the top of the stairs.

Catch us on TV: The Fishkill U.M.C. worship service can be seen on Cablevision, Fridays, 7:00 PM, Channel 21, if you have a converter box.

We have a First Aid Kit on each floor: upper hallway, kitchen, and preschool.

We save Campbell Soup Labels for Education for our Missionary Conference at Red Bird Mission/Henderson Settlement. Please save the bar code, and if the item also says "5 points," include that part, too. Instruction sheets are available in the label collection box in the Narthex. Proofs of purchase may be left in the box in the Narthex. Please continue to collect them.
