An Exciting Bible History and Travel Opportunity

A tour guide friend of one of our members, Judy Hall from Troy NH is in the process of planning a trip to Turkey. It will take follow the Apostle Paul's journeys through that country (Asia Minor) and to the cities of the seven churches in Revelation.

Turkey is a marvelous country. It's modern, yet many areas still retain the flavor of Bible times. The culture is quite different, yet the food and lodgings are definitely "American friendly." And they love and welcome American tourists

Here's some background and "credentials" about Judy:
In 1969, she and her husband had an AFS exchange student from Turkey for a year. Since that time, she has been back to visit 17 times. Besides being an avid traveler and tour guide, she knows Turkey well. She works with a Turkish Travel Agency in NY Pacha Tours and they too know her well. Three of those 17 trips were tours she had personally designed and organized. Two of our members went on the first trip in 1997 and say it was truly a travel highlight in our lives.

The date of this trip is May 4 to 18, 2010, and the cost is soon to be determined but estimated to be about $3000. It would include air fare and all meals and attractions. Once we get there travel will be in a comfortable air conditioned bus. Pacha Tours will provide a knowledgeable guide and will also include some general sight seeing. I know it's a travel opportunity and memory you'll treasure always.
